Our Commitment
Auth1 is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to achieve this.
Standard: We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
Accessibility Features
Our website includes the following accessibility features, available on every page via the accessibility toolbar (bottom-left corner) and built into the site structure:
Skip Navigation
A "Skip to main content" link appears on focus, allowing keyboard users to bypass repetitive navigation and jump directly to the page content.
Keyboard Navigation
All interactive elements are fully keyboard accessible. Visible focus indicators are provided on every focusable element with a clear outline.
Screen Reader Support
Proper ARIA labels, roles, and live regions are used throughout the site. Images include alt text and decorative elements are hidden from assistive technology.
Adjustable Text Size
Increase or decrease text size in fine steps using the accessibility toolbar. Your preference is saved and applied across all pages.
High Contrast Mode
Toggle a high-contrast display mode that increases contrast ratios for better visibility. Ideal for users with low vision or sensitivity to light.
Dyslexia-Friendly Font
Switch to the OpenDyslexic typeface, designed to increase readability for readers with dyslexia. Applies site-wide when enabled.
Reduced Motion
Stop all CSS animations and transitions with a single toggle. The site also respects the prefers-reduced-motion operating system setting by default.
Reading Guide
Enable a horizontal guide bar that follows your cursor to help track your reading position across lines of text.
Link Highlighting
Toggle visible underlines and outlines on all links throughout the page so they are clearly distinguishable from surrounding text.
Text Spacing
Increase letter and word spacing for improved readability, particularly helpful for users with certain cognitive or visual processing needs.
Conformance Status
We believe this website substantially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Substantially conforms" means that some portions of the content may not fully comply with the standard, but we are actively working to address any gaps.
We perform regular accessibility audits and testing with assistive technologies including screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA), keyboard-only navigation, and browser zoom at 200%.
Compatibility
Our site is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- Screen readers (VoiceOver on macOS/iOS, NVDA and JAWS on Windows, TalkBack on Android)
- Screen magnification software
- Speech recognition software
- Keyboard-only navigation
- Browser zoom up to 200%
Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:
- Some third-party content or embedded widgets may not meet all WCAG 2.1 AA criteria.
- Older PDF documents may not be fully tagged for assistive technology.
We are working to resolve these issues and will update this page as improvements are made.
